How do I apply for CDAP?
1. Confirm your eligibility for the CDAP program
- Validate your eligibility for Stream 2 using the assessment tool.
- Submit an application on the CDAP program portal and complete* the Digital Needs Assessment (DNA) questionnaire.
- Very Important Note: Only an owner or administrator, as indicated in the company’s articles of incorporation, may act as an applicant to complete the application, and the company will need to meet all eligibility requirements. Applicants must submit their grant application using the CDAP portal. Applications submitted in any other format will not be accepted.
- Agree to the terms and conditions of the grant agreement and retain a copy of proof of CDAP eligibility.
* Since November 18, 2022, applicants have the option to postpone the completion of the DNA questionnaire in order to receive assistance from a Digital Advisor. A completed DNA questionnaire is still required to receive grant payment.
2. Have your digital adoption plan developed by a registered Digital Advisor
- We are registered with the CDAP Advisor Marketplace.
Contact us: [email protected] - Forward your proof of eligibility to your digital advisor and establish a contractual agreement to complete the digital adoption plan.
- Develop your digital adoption plan with your advisor within 9 months in accordance with program requirements.
3. Get your grant to cover 90% of your digital advisor’s costs
Submit your final digital adoption plan along with your digital advisor’s comprehensive invoice on the CDAP program portal. If you opted to postpone* filling your DNA questionnaire during the eligibility process, you must submit a completed DNA at this time. You will receive the grant as reimbursement for the cost of developing the digital adoption plan within 30 days.
4. Apply for the Youth Wage grant
Join the mailing list to be notified when paid internships will be open to SMBs.
5. Apply for the BDC interest-free loan
Once you have asked ISED to qualify your eligibility for the program and received an email from ISED with your unique link, you will have access to an online form at bdc.ca to apply for the loan.
